The Post officers are an important roll in our organization and are the leaders
required to effectively lead Post 7308. They are nominated and elected by the membership and are expected to lead the Post throughout the year. Each officer is required to present "Proof of Eligibility", by having his or her DD-214 on file, with the Post Quartermaster. Thereby proving their service ended honorably and that they have been awarded a recognized campaign medal as required by the Congressional Charter of the VFW. Post officers are nominated each year in March and then again in April. Once nominations are closed at the April meeting, elections are held and a new slate of officers are elected by the Post Membership. The following July, after the VFW National Convention, the newly elected officers are "Installed" into their positions and the new VFW year begins.
